WH Social Secretary: I Made Room for Crashers

One of my Twitter followers steered me to an interview that White House social Secretary Desriee Rogers gave June of this year to BizBash. Read this part of the report: “When asked what she does with event crashers, Rogers replied (to much laughter), that she’s begun adding an extra table, row, or bench to every event she produces, as each time she found extra people would show up in hopes of gaining entrance. “Lots of people just come anyways, they won’t take no for an answer,” she said. “Finally I just said, ‘Alright, come on in, it’s no use kicking you out.‘”

Does anyone wonder why the WH did not send her up to Congress? Well, I wonder no more.

Rush Limbaugh was (yet again) right on the money when he said on his show a few days ago that Rogers likely was the one who made sure the crashers came in this time too.

Would explain the bowing tendencies!

Oh, like: "I like you...I really really like you."

Oh, this is good. Executive privilege meets Twitter.

Using her quotes in BizBash, Congress is now free to go after Rogers in the hearings with more than expressions of “concern” or pronouncements of “serious, unanswered questions.” They can run with the BizBash quotes, with or without her presence—although, now she might want to show up, if only to provide balance and “clarity” to the minutes of those hearings. Most of the Dems will be more than happy to speak for her, offering how her remarks were mere off-the-cuff “jokes,” but it would be so much better out of her own mouth. On the other hand, does she want to open herself up to further scrutiny? Decisions, decisions.

Did she pay for that dress? If so, I’m in the wrong business. What a clunker.

So you’re sayin’ the first black/communist/British president is also....a packer?

More like a packee.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
