12/8/2009 | Dragnet

Posted on 12/08/2009 5:44:51 PM PST by dragnet2

For those concerned,

Southern California weather tomorrow is more of the same, near perfect crystal clear, sunny weather, unlimited visibility, but slightly cold, down around 62 degrees, with mild pacific breezes.

Hope y'all are hanging in there.

I'll post another forecast tomorrow since so many seem so interested!! We'll get by this brutal cold one way or another! Hang in there everyone!!

Bye now!

Did the OP actually use “brutal cold” and “62 degrees” in the same paragraph?

Exactly! I jogged at high noon and I think it was 55 degrees and I actually had to wear a long sleeve shirt! lol For Southern California it felt very cold!

I feel for you. Up here in North Calif we had a low of 7 this morning with a high of 34, but I'm concerned about my son and daughter in college down in San Diego, where it too may drop down to 50 degrees. They have become accustomed to So Calif temps and I am very worried.

"Hanging in there"??? BARELY!!! I'm literally smack dab in the middle of So Cal geographically, and the highest it got today was 47 -- right now it's 44 degrees outside! Why, there was ice on my windshield this morning when I drove to the gym!!! Have a little sympathy for us poor freezing So Cal folks! *ducking*

;^)

I'm such a sissy ... ! I can't even comprehend what the tough, hearty folks in the Midwest and Northeast go through every winter. My husband and I always remember to laugh at ourselves when we start whining about how cold it is!

But it sure is pretty to see snow all over the San Gabriel mountains ... So Cal is really pretty gorgeous sometimes ...

You can have the 6” of snow on the ground with up to 8 or 9 more to come overnight and the 25 - 45mph winds that are due any time now in North Iowa.
