I have enough sympathy to include sympathy for one who while a disgrace is being stoned metaphorically by people who are envious. His serial adultery is a disgrace but really the mob like piling on is disgraceful too.

Mob? Envious? It is Woods' hypocrisy and manufactured image that are under attack. Was it piling on when Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, John Edwards, or David Letterman strayed from their marriage vows? Were you equally as concerned about them being unfairly "stoned" by the mob?

When the highest paid athlete in the world and a billionaire screws up, it is news. Add sex to the equation and you have a major story. It is what the tabloids live on.
