It always cracks me up when some uptight minister tries to explain that the Song of Solomon is a story about God’s love for Israel, not about a husband and wife doing the wild thing.
Even back in youth group we all knew what it was about. :)
They do. One of God’s greatest gifts.
hmmmmmm
i don’t know what ‘uptight minister’ you refer to but the author of this post says that the song of solomon was about a couple in love—including physically.
or maybe you were not referring to the author of this post.
in any case, enjoy!
:-)
sometimes it’s fun to be silly. . .
ah-hah. gooooood point.
LOL! - Faithful Christians enjoy sex within marriage, AND the fruits thereof!!
Nothing like a bit of fun...
That’s funny! When we walk into church and see an entire row filled with children we know a missionary family is visiting that day. Dad and two uncles are preachers; there are 18 of us cousins in the three families. I pretty much think that what evangelicals enjoy most is sex. Can’t dance. Can’t drink. Can’t go to movies. Can’t play cards. No problem popping out a kid every 18 months, though.
makes good doctrinal sense, no that you mention it.
:-)
above should have read:
makes good doctrinal sense, now that you mention it.
Also consider God has a sense of humor. Even Shakespeare joked about the “beast with two backs”.
After becoming married I concluded I had become bisexual by that I mean we have sex twice a year on her birthday and maybe Christmas.
Exactly what I was thinking... where is that xxx'ing picture? Aha!
Dare one suggest that sex maniacs should enjoy prayer more?
