Wow, I never thought the day would come that Dan Snyder would get rid of his little security blanket!

It was not immediately clear when the team would make an official announcement. It was not immediately clear when the team would make an official playoff appearance.

My read, Holmgren as GM, Zorn as Head Coach and Sherm Lewis as offensive coordinator. Absent that, then we are looking at Cower and Shanahan. Inside scope says Cower to Cleveland, Shanahan to Dallas.

Snyder was finally getting hit in the pocketbook by all the empty seats not buying $8 beers. That is the only thing that will get him moving.
There may actually be adults in charge next year.

Clearly part of a deal with some big-name coach to get him to come to DC.

Yo, Vinny, don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya, you effin' thug! And did anyone else notice how Cerrato dissed Zorn in his resignation statement? Completely blew him off. What a punk-assed move. I don't think Zorn was the answer Cerrato thought he was, but jeez, between the injuries and the lousy personnel moves, it's not like Zorn has had a wealth of top-notch players to work with. If anyone should get shown the door, it's Cerrato by a mile. Now if Snyder would just get hit by a runaway Metro bus, we might make some forward progress with this team......

Allen really has his work cut out for him. It’s really easy to observe the effects of going ten years without using a meaningful draft pick for linemen...
