To all

A relative new film,” The Admiral”. A Russian film!
I just saw this file and was amazed!
Very well done and decently acted.
The subject ‘Admiral Alexander Kolchak”, one of the leaders of the White Counterrevolutionary Movement.
I was blown away by the act that here was a Russian film portraying this great enemy of the revolution as a Russian hero ! It was a very moving film, with Kolchak shown as a highly principled (Very very Russian Orthodox!), patriotic, flawed but tragic figure.

Have you ever seen the Russian movie, “The Chekist”? What a dark and depressing film. Makes me even more happy that the abomination called “The Soviet Union” is no more.

See also the Russian film The Island -- one of the most amazing and redemptive "twist" endings in cinematic history!
