Women have barely been affected; manufacturing, govt contractors, construction, financial industry, all have been clobbered. The stimuylus has allowed the urban States keep the dead wood on the state payroll (mostly women) and obviously most of the new beauracrats will be women and minorities...

Democracy in action!

I guess that makes us 53% of men and 39% of women “racists”.

Simple. Women are way more democratic than men. So overall, they’ll be more supportive of Obama.

For example, in the IA caucus in 2008 the GOP turnout was 56M 44F and the dems were closer to 60F 40M.

I suspect if you look at more homogeneous groups, say GOP men v GOP women, or Independent men v Independent women they’re fairly similar. It’s the huge edge in dem women that is likely giving him his advantage there.

Although, 39% of women strongly disapproving is nothing to crow about. He likely loses in 2012 with that number.

This video illustrates why the Kenyan is so popular with women and gays. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=550_1210277599

Not all women are libs, but the female vote helped put Clinton, John Kennedy, and Barack Hussein in Office.

Maybe sex appeal will help us with Sarah Palin among male voters. It can’t hurt.

Women are terrified of conflict. Of arguments.

We have been taught to be ‘nice’ and nowhere more than in the politically correct atmosphere of today.

Very occasionally I try to talk to women friends about my conservative politics and am met with uncomfortable silences and squirmings and vague ‘Oh, well, you know....’

The Left, however, seems to urge women to get in people’s faces and they will do that because Leftist women feel they have some big group or organization behind them.

Once the conservatives or the Republicans (hopefully) get some spine and start upping the rhetorical heat on the Dims, maybe more women will feel ‘protected’ enough to stand up and be counted.

So, partially it’s because A.) women avoid conflict, and B.) partially because they don’t feel they have a stout and ‘masculine’ organization behind them to back them up.

I think instead of saying women vote Dim because they want the government for a big daddy, it might be more accurate to say women will speak up when they feel safe to do so.

I am reading a lot of history about the Soviet Union and women were the fiercest partisans of the Communist Party, not because they were provided with much of anything but because the Communist Party was extremely agressive in its spoken (propagandistic) ideology.

Hmmmm... does all this make sense? (Female seeking confirmation...)

Women think he is Denzel Washington or some other Hollywood black hero that saves the country along with a white woman and sometimes a token white guy

Women like to be taken care of. Absent a good father or husband in their lives, they turn to others, like the government.

It’s part of our psychology.

Men are much more resistant to be taken care of. Those who vote for socialistic stuff are probably more often than not swayed by pity for the other guy, thinking it will help him.

Being female I suppose I can get away with this opinion. It’s not 100% true of either sex. (I certainly don’t want the government, in most situations, in charge of me). But it’s true enough.

Because most women care more about American Idol or Dancing With The Stars and less about politics? Plus, many of them still get their news from Oprah.

Notice I did not say ALL women.

Thank you!!!
I don’t care for any of the above... Yikes!

It’s long been known that women are much more susceptible to messages of “caring for the poor”, compassion, etc.

And that’s what Obama is marketing.

Women watch more TV then men. Their information is packaged by cute Katie and obese Oprah. Think: “feelings, woo, woo, woo, feelings”.

“Receptionist: How do you write women so well?
Melvin Udall {Nicholson}: I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability.”

Ditto!

Why should it get you in trouble....you’re right! Even women know you’re right...

Perhaps it’s because women are wise and intelligent like Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer. LOL.

You forgot the wise Latina, Sotomayor.

We want to take care of our own families. Some women want to be taken care of by govt.
