Brad Childress, Brett Favre dispute has been festering for awhile

During the Minnesota Vikings' 10-1 start, coach Brad Childress and quarterback Brett Favre celebrated plenty of highs.

But their relationship hit a low Sunday night during and after a 26-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. NBC cameras captured Childress and Favre having an animated discussion on the sideline in the third quarter, which the quarterback later said revolved around the coach's inclination to plug in backup Tarvaris Jackson.

RE:The Vikings were the very last NFL World Champions, before the Contamination happened.

I'd like you to provide proof of that.

The Vikings never won a NFL championship before the Super Bowl era and have never won a Super Bowl. They may have won a NFL championship before the merger but they lost the Super Bowl to Kansas City that year.

A history of FAIL.

This is my take. Brad Childress is an idiot. Pure and simple - an idiot. He considered benching Brett Favre in this game and several other games? Are you frickin’ kidding me? It is because of Brett Favre that we are having such a great season. He’s going to come try to tell a 19-year veteran QB that he can’t call an audible or make adjustments on the field because he sees something in the defense? This, coming from the same idiot coach that though Tavaris Jackson was the future of the team??? Tavaris Jackson???

I trust Brett Favre’s instincts and I trust him to lead the team. Maybe Childress should go to the O-line and launch into them with a profanity-laden tirade because it is THEIR fault that we’ve not been able to run the ball and that Brett has been getting pummeled every game.

Dear Young Little Freeper,

The so called superbowls 1-4 were exhibition games. The AFL was not part of the NFL until the 1970 season.

Or you can google it yourself "1969 NFL Champions"

LOSERS!

Twist the facts all you want - the Queenies have lost every Super Bowl game they played. 0 for 4. Says it all right there.

LOSERS!

52 may be young but I don’t have dementia...

You are right the Viqueens were 1969 NFL Champions, but they were not World Champions, as you claimed, because they embarrassed the NFL by losing to the 1969 AFL Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The first two Super Bowls were called the “AFL-NFL World Championship Game”. Strange designation for an exhibition I’d say. After the second “AFL-NFL World Championship Game” they changed the name to “Super Bowl”.

I can understand your confusion though, since the Viqueens played as if it were an exhibition game.

I’ll give you props though. Nice try at minimizing the failure of the Viqueens to secure the ultimate championship in any season.

The BIG money was still earned in the NFL Championship before the merger. They couldn't even fill the stadiums.

At least Brett Farve can retire without having to go through what Bart Starr had to endure his last years playing for Phil Bengston and a team that couldn't pay for an offensive line to keep him safe. How's Rodgers holding up? I predict another 2 years at the rate he's going before he's out for good. It's too bad, he's a good QB.

Yeah as a fan that’s all we care about is how much money our team makes. We could care less about championships. < /sarcasm>

After the Viqueens move to LA whatcha gonna do?

ALL NFL, MLB and NBA “players” are P*SSYS. If you want to see what a real man/player looks like look at these:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Staubach
BOTH served thier country and went on to steller careers.
