If we had that much guts, we would be on the way to restoring Constitutional government.
Actually blowing ones self would be act of incredible gymnastics.
Blowing ones self UP on the other hand is not brave, it is the highest form of cowardice. They blow themselves up in order to get to heaven and reap their rewards. They are insane, not brave. In addition many suicide bombers are drugged or forced into the act and the trigger is controlled by someone safely out of the blast area.
I was going to say something like that. People commit suicide all the time, I’m not sure if I can call that brave, but it certainly takes strong willpower.
Suicide bombing, however, isn’t brave, because unlike the real acts of bravery in the Iran video, a suicide bomber doesn’t have to stand up to a powerful enemy as the freedom fighters are doing in this video. I would define courage and bravery as standing up and fighting for your beliefs, and not giving up even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges (like these guards with guns). In contrast a suicide bomber just sneaks stealthily into a crowded area and flicks a switch. No courage necessary.

Not sure if it was related to the unrest today in Iran..
