Season 8 Premiers on SUNDAY NIGHT, January 17 with a TWO hour opening episode at 9 Eastern.
On Monday night we are treated to ANOTHER two hour episode again starting at 9 Eastern.
Hard to tell which way this episode will swing...back to the tough as nails UN-PC style or will we get more handwringing and Islamo-Gaia Love like last year?

This season starts off in NYC with Jack trying to establish a 'normal' life with his daughter. But...some stuff goes down at the UN and "that's when the day starts to go wrong" as Jack puts it...

Islamo-Gaia love? Mostly it was like terrorists from Zimbabwe and a weeny-whiney woman in the WH with her weeny daughter as chief of staff selling her out, which wasn't a PC plotline. But, please, no Garafolo! Greasy-haired gnome was way too hard on the eyes.
All the PC guys in last season got whacked, which was delightful.
I'm tuning in just to see Olivia go to jail.

Thanks for the ping, I’m ready for some Jack Bauer! Hopefully he will kick butt and take names again this season. Any thing or any kind of plot line will be a well deserved break from thinking about the idiots we have running the government now. I hope there’s some Jack Bauer justice administered to a few deserving bad guys (a good non pc torture of a terrorist would be great!)
