“Fly fishing waters”
I understand your point but apparently all water is fly fishing waters. Fly fishing isn’t limited to a lazy stream. Salt water fly fishing does not suck.
Since you realise my point, then you know that even though all water is potentially fly-fishing water, to try and fly-fish from the beach or in say Ches Bay, the difficulties would outweigh any fun you could have.
Unless of course the IOPTF has anything to say about it.

“One just has to know with something so simple, so pure someone will have to decide to mess with it and so they have. In June the White House created the IOPTF they should have named it WTF in my humble opinion. The Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force has now managed to somehow correlate, corroborate, and con triturate (in under 90 days at Presidential tasking) a policy that will sacrifice 1 million U.S. jobs and possibly restrict access of over 60 million yearly anglers to do what they love : Fish”
Agreed. When I was 10 my Dad took us fly fishing in the flats off the Florida Keys for Bonefish. I snagged a 20 lb Tarpon. 20 minutes seemed like 2 hours. I’ll never forget the feeling as long as I live.

Forgot 2 important facts. My thumb was purple for a week from the reel running out 5 times. Second, my father, Ed Scruggs, introduced Trout into the Chattahoochee River below the Buford Dam (illegally, but that’s another story) so he knew fresh water fly fishing. Loved both Fresh and Salt; all great Anglers love and seek both.
