Well since Christ is part of the Triune Godhead Who authored the Scriptures, including the prophetic Scriptures, eagerly looking for Christ's promised return for His Church and His kingdom after the Tribulation would look very much like seeking "the key which unlocks the Scriptures".
And even more so since Christ commands Christians to watch for His return.
