My luggage was taken and xrayed on their own machines in Brussels and my carry-on was taken prior to boarding. It was handed back to me as I sat down in my seat. There was an air marshal on the flight, he kept turning up everywhere I went in the airport.
I was a female traveling alone in July 2001. They were suspicious of my traveling alone during the intifada. There was much more, but won't go into on this forum. I didn't mind one bit!
Political correctness will continue to get more people killed. Israel has the right idea, but, of course, she has had enough attacks from these monsters to say enough with PC. We haven’t reached that point yet and, sad to say, there will have to be enough blood spilled from liberals and “letting the [liberal] bodies hit the floor” before they finally catch a clue.

Me too. I was traveling with my sister, brother-in-law, plus my niece and nephew.
My sister asked the stupid question of how one transports a gun to Israel.
The male and female security team questioned us for a good hour (some of the questions were friendly, too). I can assure you it was very thorough after my sister's dumb question. The pretty female security also said they question Arabs even more thoroughly.
