One of the first episodes of WKRP in Cincinnati had a running gag where Dr Johnny Fever tells Herb Tarlek that the beautiful Jennifer Marlowe “used to be a guy”. Tarlek is intrigued, disgusted, etc., then finally seems to say he thinks it’s a joke. “Get outta here!,” he laughs.
Then later in the episode Jennifer is typing at her desk and we Herb sneaking into the room to get a glimpse at her
and judge for himself...

If Obama’s appointee looks like Loni Anderson I imagine the fuss will die down rather quickly and everybody will rush to forgive the administration. Without looking I am guessing however he looks more like Louie Anderson.
Hard to recall the days twenty years ago when Dave actually was the funniest talk show host. It’s a shame what bitterness can do to an old man.
