Speaking at the National Press Club this afternoon, AFL-CIO president, Richard Trumka made a bold prediction: The Employee Free Choice Act--the flagship legislation of the labor movement--will pass in the first quarter of 2010.
"I think you'll see the Employee Free Choice Act pass in the first quarter of 2010," Trumka said. "You'll have it have some real effect. We'll start creating and making new jobs in this country again."

Build more union halls for the unemployed union guys to play checkers and collect free cheese.
If this abomination is enacted, you will see a flight of manufacturing jobs from the North to the South like never before, and they will not stop at the US-Mexican border.
Obama must really think Americans are as stupid as his constituents in Chicago's 13th District.
That said, what can Trumka say but that the bill will pass!

Makes the Brown seat so much more important.
