I don’t watch Soap Operas so can’t speak about the first three shows, but Modern Family is a pretty funny show and the two gay characters carry much of the load.
About the extended family of Ed O’Neill who is married to his second wife, a Venezuelan trophy wife bombshell, as his gay son and son’s partner are the second household and his daughter and her family are the third household. There is still a lot of Al Bundy in Ed. I won’t be surprised if Katie Segal shows up as a guest star one day.
Glee is unwatchable. I tried three times to get through the pilot episode. Never lasted beyond 20 minutes. Whatever gay was going on there besides the singing, I never got to see it. Unless the award is for the girl’s gym teacher.
