I've never heard of fortifying a typical 12-13% wine to 15%. Most fortified wines are about 20%.
Jesus turned the water into wine at Cana even though the wedding guests were already drunk (or at least the head steward thought they were: John 2.10).
It sounds like “weak” wine. I don’t understand the fuss in the land of 80 proof whisky.
