Did the Minnesota Vikings run up the score on the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday's NFC divisional playoff? Keith Brooking(notes) thinks so. A late Brett Favre(notes) touchdown pass infuriated the Dallas linebacker, who charged over to the Vikings' sideline to voice his displeasure. And in his postgame press conference he didn't back down. The Vikings had held a comfortable 27-3 lead since the early part of the fourth quarter. Dallas looked completely deflated after going down 24 points and the team's subsequent play did nothing to dispel that notion. On the Cowboys' next two possessions the team went four-and-out, gaining a mere 14 yards on eight plays.

why would Jerry Jones fire him? If you want to fire the reason the cowboys haven't won is cause you can't fire an owner.
Jerry Jones started thinking he was a "football expert" after two of Jimmy Johnson's teams won Super Bowls and he got that idiot Switzer to take another Jimmy Johnson team to the Super Bowl.
I wish Jerry would just get in the owner's box, drink scotch and bang cheerleaders instead of playing general manager, coach and all around douche bag.
As I recall, the year before Jones bought the team, the Cowboys were 3-13.
Defensive Coordinators, IMO make horrible head coaches. Look at Buddy Ryan, Ray Rhodes, etc. Excellent coordinators but horrible as coaches.
I’ve despised the Cowboys ever since they went out of their way to taunt the Packers during a playoff game several years back in a sickening display of childish unsportsmanship.
I have no problem with Favre getting a little revenge.
My fear is that Jerry will do something nutty like hire Mike Leach.

There's no such thing as "running up the score". If one team can't keep the other team from scoring, whether it's on the first play of the game or the last, then the defense simply isn't playing very well. For a defense to try to blame it's own shortcomings on the fact that the other team's offense scored again is simply whining on the part of the defense.
