Did the Minnesota Vikings run up the score on the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday's NFC divisional playoff? Keith Brooking(notes) thinks so. A late Brett Favre(notes) touchdown pass infuriated the Dallas linebacker, who charged over to the Vikings' sideline to voice his displeasure. And in his postgame press conference he didn't back down. The Vikings had held a comfortable 27-3 lead since the early part of the fourth quarter. Dallas looked completely deflated after going down 24 points and the team's subsequent play did nothing to dispel that notion. On the Cowboys' next two possessions the team went four-and-out, gaining a mere 14 yards on eight plays.

Wah, wah, wah. Favre had a bone to pick with Dallas. He got it out of his system. Dallas got whipped, get over it.

Waaah, they had 11 guys out on the field that could have stopped the Vikes from getting that late touchdown. They failed.
Considering that it was the Vikes’ last home game, why not leave the fans with a parting gift.
As a Lions fan, I loved hearing the commentators point out that Dallas hadn’t been shut out of the end zone in the playoffs, since the Lions beat them 38-6 back in 91.
Rumor also has it that Wade Philipps is toast.
Wade will be working as a Wal-Mart greater by the end of the week.
The line forms to the left for teams who will take Wade as defensive coordinator.

Childress also said something about “those Tasmanian Devils” from Dallas that were gonna ride through through Minnesota like Sherman through the South. Guess they were a little bugged by that.
Otherwise, isn't it in the league charter to be competitive? What are you supposed to do if you're up and there is still a quarter to go? Are they supposed to just take a knee three times and punt?

The Vikes have always been a team that didn’t have a step-on-their-neck killer instinct.
That’s why the’ve never won a SB in four attempts.
They made a statement, today.
They may not win it all, but they have the right mindset.
Brooking was a member of the defense on a losing team, today.
He needs to watch some film and find out why....
He's most likely still pissed off by that and taking it out on the Vikes.
One thing I saw was a game ball (after a TD) was given to a Dallas fan (young girl right at the goal end of the field)
Maybe the Cowgirls can go back to the safety of their billion dollar stadium and pretend they are Americas Team.
The reason Favre humiliated them is because........well. cuz he could. It sure wiped the smirk from jerrys face.
