I've been saying this all day ... it takes the death of socialists to re-claim our country.
Socialists don't change, nor go away ... they have to die.

Yell at you? Are you kidding? You’re dead-on right; the irony is nothing short of delicious, and I don’t say this in any way ‘reveling’ at the demise of the late Sen. Kennedy. It’s all about stopping Socialism dead in its tracks.

And he could have stepped down when he learned of his illness and gave his blessings to an heir-apparent who would have coasted.

Tonight, it is the fact the Mr. Kennedy died and freed the 60th senate seat that will most likely lead to failure of the Bill and the failure of Obama's plans in general. Yes, and, didn't Kennedy have the rules changed, requiring a special election, to keep Mitt from appointing a Republican if John Kerry became president?

Only liberals could lionize a man (and keep him in The Senate for half a century) who was having an affair with a young girl, got drunk, drove off a bridge, saved his own sorry ass and allowed her to drown, after which he spent the night looking for (paid) volunteers to say that they were driving the car. Meanwhile, if a conservative jaywalks, we drive him out of office as unworthy of our support. The double standard should have died with Teddy, but it surely did not.

Is there a stimulus bill tax credit for tapping the alternative energy potential of the alcohol-fueled former senator spinning in his grave?

Maybe the Senate should honor Teddy by doing the will of his former constituents. Bury Obamacare with Teddy.

Kennedy Seat Irony...yeah, I thought it was delicious irony never to be equalled when a bunch of Vietnam vet Swiftboaters managed to sink John Kerry's presidential campaign, after he had insulted an entire generation of those American fighting men and probably helped get thousands of them killed by encouraging North Vietnam to keep fighing after they were about defeated...but Brown's victory may just outequal that irony.....
To: dangerdoc
God has a harsh sense of humor in how events are ordered.
The Kennedy worshipers must realize the irony you mention.
