I know the laws, but the law and practical reality are two different things. Father who aren’t paying tend to make themselves scarce. And if they’ve been ordered by a court to make payments and simply refuse, they can end up in jail, and I don’t think courts generally order custodial mothers to bring their kids to visit their deadbeat dads in jail.
Yes, the courts can order payment and go to jail. What I was saying is that Bristol can’t stop him from seeing the child even if he isn’t paying. I doubt she would take the child to see him in jail, but, that isn’t the point - she can’t withhold him seeing the baby now.
