American Immigration conundrum!
Vanity

Posted on 01/25/2010 8:10:47 PM PST by ajay_kumar

Let me see if I got this right...

> If you cross the NORTH KOREAN border illegally you get 12 years hard labor. > If you cross the IRANIAN border illegally you are detained indefinitely. > If you cross the AFGHAN border illegally you get shot. > If you cross the SAUDI ARABIAN border illegally you will be jailed. > If you cross the CHINESE border illegally you may never be heard from again. > If you cross the VENEZUELAN border illegally you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed. > If you cross the CUBAN border illegally you will be thrown into political prison to rot.

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: illegal; immigration
If you cross the UNITED STATES border illegally you get: ** A JOB, ** A DRIVERS LICENSE, ** SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, ** WELFARE, ** FOOD STAMPS, ** CREDIT CARDS, ** SUBSIDIZED RENT OR A LOAN TO BUY A HOUSE, ** FREE EDUCATION, ** FREE HEALTH CARE, ** A LOBBYIST IN WASHINGTON ** BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS PRINTED IN YOUR LANGUAGE ** THE RIGHT TO CARRY YOUR COUNTRY'S FLAG WHILE YOU PROTEST THAT YOU DON'T GET ENOUGH RESPECT ** AND, IN MANY INSTANCES, YOU CAN VOTE.

I just wanted to make sure I had a firm grasp on the situation... doesn't that piss you off...maybe just a little???

Great observations, but Mexican irredentist arrogance is like the behavior of a gas, which expands until it completely fills its container.

For that reason you would also have to include that fact that many of them in the American Southwest also believe that it is THEIR land —that is taught in Mexican schools. It should say, “be patiently listened to as they explain that your stuff is THEIRS”.

Ever wonder why they don’t have the slightest hesitation to sign up for all those benefits? It’s because they think by DEFINITION they cannot steal in “the US”, since all that stuff was theirs to begin with.

You missed the most important one for your argument.

If you cross the Mexican border illegally and try to work there, you are not only violating Mexican law, you will probably be convicted and sit in a Mexican jail for years.

They don’t mess around with illegal aliens in Mexico.

I am sure you are correct. I am just trying to point out the
vast difference between how illegal invaders (they are not immigrants, they are like the locust) are treated here versus almost every other country in the world.

And I can’t really blame the invaders. It is entirely the fault of our elected politicians. We would not even need a fence if there were appropriate penalties for violation of our laws. Starting with employers who hire illegals.
