Yes, well Harper has prevented the liberal leftists from making intelligence gathering and "enhanced interrogation" an issue so that Canada can still act in Afghanistan to continue to protect the West through gatering rendition based intel.The left is trying to pull a bull shite move that will further ham string our men and women serving abroad. They do not want the war to contnue simply because they are ideologically opposed to the liberation of Afghanistan, as they were to the liberation of Iraq.
Harper is a hero IMHO, beciuase he is standing up against Obama, The United Nations,and the entire wool gathering A$$ hats in the NDP and liberal parties of Canada in order to maintain a protectibve flow of timely intel. Obama is treating terrorists as criminals, a TRAVESTY.And that policy is doomed to kill many innocents by preventing the gathering of intel as Obama intended.Canada would be crazy to do the same. Harpers move is slick and necessary.
Now McKenzie King and his fools were treating the war efffort as a recreational endeavor. The conservatives in Canada knew that the leftist, anti British forces in Canada would try to diminish Canada's role in the war.King took the heat and deservedly so.Again the liberals chose not to fight for freedom, just as they do now in seeking to make "rendition: an issue. It should not be an issue, simply because we are at war, it saves lives, and it is effective, AND IT IS NOT TORTURE
That effectiveness is why the enemy wants rendition ended.
