I don’t feel sorry for her. She knew about his affair and was perfectly willing to keep it hidden so they could foist themselves on the American people. She is a mean vicious woman.
I wonder who's idea it was to separate, at this late juncture? I'd be willing to bet half a quid it was his idea.
She was a willing participant in his (her) campaign for The Presidency. She enabled, if not participated, in the cover-up.

But if you read the books excerpts you will find that she is a piece of work to go along with him.

Elizabeth Edward is as bad or worse then her husband when it comes to ethics.
1) She lied to the media and public about affair while her husband was running for president. She want the fame and prestige of the White House almost as bad as her husband.
“John told Elizabeth about the affair shortly after he announced for the presidency in December 2006.” See her fame tour on Oprah and her book, “Resilience”.
2) Elizabeth continued the fraud after the National Enquirer expose by again lying to the media and the public.
3) Elizabeth also posted anonymously on the Huffington Post savaging Rielle and her child as fraud despite knowing that those claims were false.

You shouldn’t. Please take time to bring yourself up to speed. The stories I’ve read about her indicate she’s just as despicable as John-Boy — although in different ways.
In particular, her moral corruption in enabling Johnnie’s behavior — and even worse in helping cover it up — all the while playing on the public’s sympathy for her cancer, may mark a new low in American political depravity.
