I haven’t been with it daily either, but she sure has been busy today. She is so precious. Just a few minutes ago, her eyes were looking so sleepy. Never a moment’s rest. I will surely appreciate my little hummers more this summer (if thats possible.)
Yesterday, I looked at the hummingbird feeder, and it only had about a quarter inch of syrup left in it. All of a sudden, I thought of "Phoebe", and what if she came to an empty feeder, with that precious little baby waiting for it's mama, to bring her food. I grabbed that feeder, brought it inside, washed it out, made fresh syrup, filled the feeder, took it back out and hung it in the hanger,(all before dusk), and said, "Whew! I can sleep with a clear conscience, tonight." (smile)
