It was a stand out moment that many considered to be the highlight of the Grammy awards, and one that the rest of the night's performers were hard pushed to top. With their late father absent from proceedings, Michael Jackson's children Prince Michael and Paris took to the stage at the Staples Centre to accept the lifetime achievement award on their father's behalf.

I’m sort of in the same boat. Aside from actually seeing the faces of his children for the first time, who cares?
How will that little girl feel when she sees video of her “loving father” dangling her out of a balcony window for the paparazzi?

i guess this is the silver lining in his death...they got to live without those stupid veils. how dumb.
They will eventually grow up and complain that they had no childhood, that their father sequestered them, and that after he was gone they were thrust out on stage to accept awards on his behalf. Their future bizarre behavior will be blamed for this failure to let them grow up and have a normal childhood.
That wasn’t Paris. That was their younger brother. But the same is true for him.
So glad I didn’t waste time watching those loons. The Daily Mail pictures and info was more than enough for me. Lady Gaga might as well show up naked next time, she is so proud to show off both ends.
Lady Gaga looks a heck of a lot like Marilyn Manson in those pictures...
The kids were nice and I hope the sins of the father don’t damage their lives.
But it was Pink who stole the show. Everyone in that audience knew it too. She was awesome. She would have been awesome even if she didn’t move.
