Ryan Miller is the goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, and this February he will be repping the United States to the fullest as the number one netman for the national team. And when I say he's repping the U.S. to the fullest, I mean it. Have a look at that mask.
It doesn't get much more American than Uncle Sam with a tattoo, about ready to layeth the smack down.
Designed by Warwick Mask & Equipment, Inc. in Port Huron, Mich., the mask features that fearsome Uncle Sam, along with Olympics logos, and patriotic sayings that aren't pictured but are probably pretty fearsome in their own right.

His alternate can wear a “Don’t tread on me” helmet.
Democrats, Obama and other progressive commies are not going to like that.
How much you wanna bet the IOC tries to ban it...
I like it.
I’m a big fan of “mask art” in general, and this is simply awesome. I’d love to see a high-res version from multiple angles to get the entire effect, though.
I almost like your idea better!
Olympic hockey is great. Besides of course the all-star teams the rink is bigger allowing the skill players to shine.
I hereby predict that the IOC will vote by Friday to require all goaltenders to wear plain white masks
Cool!
Obama will have this played when the US takes the podium.
Here's the original inspiration
I’m from Western NY, so I am biased, but Ryan Miller is a 100% CLASS ACT: top of his profession, quiet, a real team player, ready to take his share of blame for losses, and give credit to others for wins, and well-liked by all. He also runs a charity for kids with cancer. Sabres have a shot at Lord Stanley’s Cup this year, because of him.
I’m generally a Western/Pacific hockey fan with no interest in watching eastern teams, but Buffalo is the exception. I like watching the Sabres because of Miller.
that version of uncle sam would make for one righteous tattoo.
