LONG BEACH, California (AFP) – Cabernet and chocolate are potent medicine for killing cancer, according to research presented here Wednesday.

Red grapes and dark chocolate join blueberries, garlic, soy, and teas as ingredients that starve cancer while feeding bodies, Angiogenesis Foundation head William Li said at a prestigious TED Conference.

"We are rating foods based on their cancer-fighting qualities," Li said. "What we eat is really our chemotherapy three times a day."

The Massachusetts-based foundation is identifying foods containing chemicals that evidently choke-off blood supplies to tumors, starving them to death.

You’d have to ask Tiger Woods (lately).

Having some chocolate as we speak, made by Endangered Species, it's called "Extreme Dark Chocolate." It tastes great with Crystallized Ginger (ginger candy!) And the best part is, no one in the family likes this combo. Ha! All mine! All mine!

Frankincense Oil ... also a potential cancer buster. We get ours from Young Living, as they have therapeutic oils compared to ones with additives.

I eat my chocolate very faithfully, anyway.

I’m sitting here eating one of those right now. If Michelle Obama outlaws chocolate chips, it’s war.

This red wine and dark chocolate deal sounds good to me. I’m off to Godiva for some cancer prevention.

Mrs. Genoa insists that red grape juice is just as efficacious as red wine. Any advice?

I have always been told that chocolate is a food group. Therefore, I have several servings per day :)
