That looks more like a campaign ad than a resignation, or withdrawal. He doesn’t even use good English! He refers to “he and his brothers” (used in the objective tense). It should be “him and his brothers”, or “his brothers and him.”
Then, he launches into a litany of thanks to various people who helped him “advance the cause of my family”. Really? I thought he was supposed to be representing the people of RI?
Did Patrick Kennedy ever write a piece of legislation in the 2 decades he was in Congress? Or, was Congress just a sand box for him to play in and to avoid having a real job?
