Actually, they do. However, these people play with i-phones whether they are at heated places or not. I suspect they did not bother to take gloves off inside the subway train. After all, that is the whole point.

I’m a motorcyclist and wear gloves all the time, even when it’s hot. I have no problems using the iPhone with gloves on; the trick is to have leather gloves, or at least gloves with an outer surface of leather. The iPhone picks that up just fine.

I googled such a device and ordered 2.
My fat fingers have always caused me problems w/ my iTouch and any stylus I’ve tried hasn’t worked..
