My aunt had a siamese cat like that. We were terrified of her (we were little kids). She would hide under furniture and when we walked by she would leap out and dig her claws into our ankles. What an awful cat!

All 3 of my dogs are on this list; a Springer Spaniel, GoldenDoodle, and Lab/Weimeraner mix. These dogs wouldn’t hurt a fly. Very scary....

He’s a little cutie, isn’t he? The chiwienie tends to look like a chi, but with the huge melting limpid soulfull eyes of the dachshund. Since chi eyes tend to be watery and bugged looking, this really improves the cuteness.

He sure is...
And, your description: “huge melting limpid soulfull eyes” totally nails it! Beautiful...

With that dog, you’d never have to worry about car jackers...;]
At only 3 months old, [with puppy teeth, no less] Odin wouldn’t let people near our truck.
He loves kids though so I’ll probably get mugged by a gang of toddlers, someday.

I had a big (14 pound) Siamese male who imagined that he was a leopard on the Serengeti.
He would leap up to the tops of doors in the house (leaving scratch marks with his hind claws, I might add) and lurk there, bracing himself by his front feet.
When unsuspecting people walked through the doorway, he would drop on them, with bloodcurdling Siamese howls.
We had to lock him up when we had company. Then we got the bloodcurdling howls, but no tackles.

By the way, my "semi-rescue" Katy is doing beautifully.
She retrieves like mad. Passed her first obedience class with flying colors.
We met her dad while we were out training, so they posed for a father-daughter picture.
Unfortunately, she gave us a little surprise yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, we were equipped for it.

She's very relaxed about it all, though. An extremely even-tempered and affectionate little girl.
And she's got to head off in March to the pro trainer to be force fetched. I'm sure going to miss her cheerful face around the house (and Ruby's going to miss her sparring partner. They have a riotous good time together.)
