A friend of mine had thyroid cancer, she had to have it surgically removed & thus has to take meds for life, but she did recover fully.

Yes, they do try to scare you so about it.

Do a google search using the words cancer = ph.

The cancer has not metastasized is probably the better term for it.

I did not have cancer, but I did become hyperthyroid and had my thyroid neutralized with radiation. I knew several people who actually had thyroid cancer. It is usually very localized and once the thyroid gland is removed, the cancer is usually gone. Certainly there can be exceptions, such as libtard movie critic Roger Ebert; but it usually is a very treatable form of cancer.
