A couple of things to say. Tiger's personal life has nothing to do with his golf game and some people on these threads sound positively filled with hate for Tiger simply because he is a jerk with women.

OTH, people who jeer and heckle him at golf games have a right to do so and if he can figure out that this is going to happen(of course he has, which is why his caddy is threatening people)then he needs to get out of the game.

The worse thing he could have done has happened, he has threatened fans, through a surrogate exactly as Bozo(his hero) does, who might actually try to bad mouth him while he is playing.

All he had to do was keep playing and concentrating on the game and eventually, probably by the end of this season, people would stop or the heckling would have dropped to a very low rate.

If going out all night, getting drunk, having affairs with other women were a criteria for being tossed out of sports, then Babe Ruth would have been tossed out of baseball because that is exactly what he did through out his career.

I don't particularly care if Woods is or is not faithful to his wife. It's none of my business. But, if he is choosing to get in the car and drive while he's incapacitated, then I've got a big problem with that. I still contend that sober people don't demolish their cars when pulling out of their own driveway. He was either drunk or incapacitated on prescription medications.

Secondly, I've never approved of Tiger's on-course behavior. His marketing machine, with their willing accomplices in the media, have done a yeoman's job in covering for his (and his caddy's) incredibly boorish behavior. Some people, like Tom Watson, are just now starting to talk out about it. If Tiger really has changed his life, it will show up sooner on course, than it probably will off course.
