ESPN has suspended TV commentator Tony Kornheiser for remarks about fellow ESPN personality Hannah Storm, according to multiple reports Tuesday.
Kornheiser, the popular host of the show "Pardon the Interruption," is known for making sports figures the subject of his humorous criticism, but in a recent show he aimed his commentary at Storm's wardrobe.

"Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today," Kornheiser said. "Shes got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now."
"Shes got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body I know shes very good, and Im not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I wont but Hannah Storm come on now! Stop! What are you doing?"
Result:
Three day suspension.
I don’t know. Making negative comments about the a way a woman is dressed tends to be a techincal foul. but political correctness is just as offensive sometimes.
I love PTI. Whoever thought of putting Korny and Wilbon together was an effin genius.
Just out of curiosity, was the description accurate?
Too late.
Korny sucks on MNF but he’s perfect for PTI.
Taking a shot at a female colleague’s wardrobe on national television isn’t really a good idea. I don’t care if you thought she was dressed like a $3 hooker ... leave it alone when you’re on the air.

Hannah Storm is eye candy for middle aged men. She is yet another reason why I cannot stand watching ESPN.
She looked fine to me. I’ve seen much, much worse on less attractive women on TV.
His punishment for commenting on inappropriate dress is a 3-day suspension.
Her punishment for dressing inappropriately is??
When I worked at a company in Austin, we had a young lady who tended to push the borders. Wearing tops that only God knows kept her from popping out, skirts that were so high that a bikini would be considered modest.
But, woe to any man (whom she did not approve of) who did not go out of his way to divert his eyes ... a trip to HR and an allegation of sexual harassment was soon to follow.
Didi you see what Donovan McNabb has on today?? Horrifying, absolutely horrifying.................YOU’RE FIRED!
Are you series? That’s what she wore? OMG, how could he NOT comment??? My gawd, they have me siding with Kornheiser on this one.
Was he suspended for telling the truth?
Don’t know if the description was accurate. But, considering the context of the type of show he apparently has, a suspension seems a bit much, imo.
And, if his description is accurate, maybe Hannah Storm is the one who should have been suspended! lol.
Given that her wardrobe was probably put together by an ESPN employee if somebody is going to get punished it probably won’t be her. And really there’s nothing inappropriate about her outfit. ESPN went to the “stand up” Sports Center telecast for a reason, they were looking for some Mary Hart style ratings (if you remember when Entertainment Tonight put lights under the desk) and miniskirts and FMB boots are right in that plan.
