Prayers for the people in Japan and Chile as they recover from the earthquakes.
Good morning. The month of Feruary is just hours behind us. Yay!
Of all the words in the English language THAT is one I should never misspell. As a child my English teacher was quite firm teaching us how to spell it correctly.
That’s probably why they are hounding him out of office. They seem to want Cuomo — probably to give him creds so that he can run for Pres. in 2012. JMHO
Good morning! Prayers definitely ascending for the people of Chile and also for the people of the islands and lands in the paths of the tsunamis. Most of them haven't been affected yet and have time to take evasive action. I am concerned about those on the low-lying atolls in the S. Pacific. There ain't much higher ground on those islands!
Personal news: I got a call from the doc early the AM letting me know that she isn't getting anything by way of texts and could I just tell her my concerns. I said that of course I could do that, I'm just afraid I'll forget something or put the wrong emphasis on what I'm saying.
I shared my concern that something may have been missed, not apparent, etc. two weeks ago. I asked the questions about whether further investigation being warranted. She quizzed me about what I was experiencing. We developed a plan of action which involved x-rays on Mon. and evaluation on Wed.
THEN, I said that the second concern was the dent in my head. DENT? she asked. I affirmed that yes, it was definitely, to my untrained fingers, a dent.
The plan changed. Evaluation on Wednesday, followed by repeat x-rays INCLUDING a head x-ray. Take it easy in the meantime.
Then, after lunch she calls back. She is going to the hospital and would I like to go along and get the x-rays right then.
Sure, I says. Ain't got nothin' better to do. She picks me up and off we go.
I have a fractured skull.
I also have perhaps a broken vertebrae in the L5/S1 (?) area, maybe.
The x-rays are being scanned and sent to an orthopedic surgeon in Singapore for further evaluation.
Did you see my news about JT?
Good morning, lysie. Thank you for the start.
Will there be a Republican running against Cuomo?
Sure did! Awesome!!
I’m still pretty excited. I’ve changed the ringtone for him on my phone to “Pin silver wings on my son’s chest ...”. LOL!
Jemian, Congrats to JT. And many, many thanks. He's well prepared by you to undertake this mission.
Good Morning. I’m off to a Pee Wee Wrestling tournament today. I have one little fellow wrestling this morning and his older cousin, age 10, wrestling this afternoon.
That’s my day in a nutshell.
I wish this were in red, white, and blue....
Oh my! Take care Jem.
So glad you pursued the doc, Jem!
Tail bone looked okay, or is that where the broken vertabrae is?
Thank you, thank you. That is the way I feel about it. He does have a year-long course before he is a Green Beret. Passing the SFAS is like taking the college admission test and being accepted at Auburn. Getting through the Q-course is the Commencement at the end of the studies.
Well, there might be other reasons, but wanting Cuomo in is high on the list.
I saw this “i have a broken skull” - on FB. Had to confirm here. My goodness!!! I trust you will be taken somewhere where you can get excellent care. Quickly!
....and I am off to a middle school Solo & Ensemble event, where I’ll be accompanying 13 studentson their solos. Then, tonight is the first “tech” rehearsal for the musical at the university. That’s MY day in a nutshell.:)
