The ultimate fall from grace, a Federal grand jury is about to indict John Edwards, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
In another shocker, close sources say Edwards' estranged wife Elizabeth could help send the former presidential candidate to jail!
Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.
The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent.
"John is terrified that he's going to be indicted," a friend told The ENQUIRER.
"While he believes he's done nothing illegal in trying to hide his extramarital affair with Rielle and their daughter, he thinks the Feds are going to make an example of him."
For the FULL STORY with ALL the details you won't find anywhere else - RUN - don't walk - to get the new issue of The ENQUIRER before it sells out - on sale NOW!
PLUS: Just WHO is the insider that may have hacked e-mails crucial to the investigation?!
May God help this loser... and put his ass in jail.
There are two America’srich and famous don’t go to jail!
“Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.”
Wouldn’t that make her his prostitute?
I'll bet a dollar he wet himself.
“Wouldnt that make her his prostitute?”
You pay prostitutes for sex. He was paying her to shut up about sex.
Similiar, but different.

“You pay prostitutes for sex.”
I thought you paid them to leave afterward?
Goodness, what will happen to his hair?
It’s clear that they aren’t being paid “not to talk”. Too many of them are keeping records of clients and taping phone calls for later blackmail.
I wonder what the maximum penalty is?
Jesse Jackson paid off the mother of his bastard child with charitable money and it didn’t get nearly this much press.
Need to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. GOP needs to add strict law enforcement to their platform and truly MEAN IT, no exceptions. Send some of those killers like the sex offender and now murderer in CA of the young Chelsea King down to Guantanomo OR the death penalty, preferably the latter.
Someone pointed out that if he marries her, they cannot be compelled to testify against one another.
Spitzer didn’t go to jail....Dems don’t go to jail...
Over the years, the National Enquirer has printed many things that never happened.
Whoda thought they would become a source for Freepers?
“Jesse Jackson paid off the mother of his bastard child with charitable money and it didnt get nearly this much press.”
Wonder why. /sarc.
Why? Does Obama see him as a continued political threat?
Hey everyone, Charlie Sheen is a Freeper!
His hair will be donated to “The Other America”.
Only applies to what happens after the marriage.
I posted the story in “Chat” and should be taken with a grain of salt, (same goes for MSM these days).
The NE was the source to break the John Edwards scandal so in my opinion it is at least a topic for general discussion. Where would Edwards be today had it not been for the NE?

That won’t stop Elizabeth.
“Hey everyone, Charlie Sheen is a Freeper!”
Now now, I am way different than Charlie. I am not a raving nutcase truther AND....he’s married.
it’s differnt wif black people, and gay people like Bwawney and that governor of NJ that hired his bathhouse boy for state homeland security chief
Two Americas- don’cha know
Did he pay her with campaign money?
I trust them more than I trust the NYT or the LAT.
Marie Osmond is suicidal?????
“Jesse Jackson paid off the mother of his bastard child with charitable money and it didnt get nearly this much press.”
Gee! I wonder how come???
I'm afraid he's going to end up with a few new things on his lips.
I’m with you. I find this very difficult to believe.
Two Americas: One where people obey the law, and one where they don’t.
Edwards won’t go to prison. At worst he would be sentenced to so many hours of community service. Perhaps hair care for the poor.
“Jesse Jackson paid off the mother of his bastard child...”
Indict this evil racist too.

Lately, the National Enquirer has been pretty reliable as a news source. Don’t forget though, it is in the employ of the Clintons. My guess is the pretty pony pissed off Clinton Inc somehow.
“Edwards wont go to prison. At worst he would be sentenced to so many hours of community service. Perhaps hair care for the poor.”
LOL! Probably won’t go to prison, though Elizabeth seems extremely bitter and vengeful, IMO.
More popcorn ...
The low quality of the candidates put forth by the Democrats is disheartening.
The difficulty Republicans have in beating those candidates at the polls is more so.
Look at it this way, what sane person would want to be a politician today, unless they saw it as a path to power.
I hope he is indicted, convicted and imprisoned, but I have to take this story with a grain of salt.
Generally, when the Enquirer makes very firm statements of fact, (where misreporting could lead to a libel suit) its stories are quite accurate.
When it uses fuzzier language like “about to be indicted” it is often wildly inaccurate.
Hey, he's a lawyer, he'll get a plea bargain which puts his hair on parole...
the infowarrior
*ping*
So sorry to see Marie Osmond lose her son,, and now Edwards.. what a sleezeball..
will he get conjugal visits?
