Similarly, we believe Sarah Palin is making perhaps the smartest, most brilliant, tactical move of 21st Century politics in pursuing the travelogue/adventure/exploration of Alaska series with Mark Burnet. Here’s why:

We know Sarah Palin is running for President in 2012. We know this show is part of her strategy for winning.

We think it is a brilliant tactical move.

I believe in Sarah and it would take a lot for me to not vote for her in 2012. I didn't see her on Leno, and I mostly stay away from Mark Burnett productions, so I am not voicing my opinion here.

But I make the observation that I know several people who used to like Sarah but have now abandoned her because:

A) She supported McCain
B) She tried to be a comedienne on Jay Leno
C) She's doing reality TV

Rightly or wrongly, some people are perceiving her recent actions in a negative light. And these are not Keith Olbermann kool-aid drinkers -- these are Conservative people who were real fans.

I just hope Sarah is careful.

Great analysis as usual from the Hillbuzz guys. I never could figure out why people as sharp as they are think that Hillary is worth supporting, but we’ve all got our faults.

Some people are just looking for any excuse to voice displeasure because of some reason. She could wear the wrong fingernail polish color and they would pipe up. Professional whiners.

With Palin on TV all the time, it will essentially be like having free campaign commercials playing a year before the Iowa Caucus, when her boring, milquetoast, cucumber and mayonnaise on soggy Wonder Bread primary rivals like Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, John Thune, and Casper the Friendly Ghost all fade into the background, like xeroxes of mimeographs of tissue paper bathroom caulk color samples.

That amused me!

What Reality Show are you talking about? It’s a Documentary on Alaska history, culture and beautiful nature resources.

But, will a media outlet choose profits over political correctness, and go with the Palin show?

Just got an email from J.D. Hayworth talking about Juan McCain being behind the new Obama amnesty push.

If Sarah, Mitt, Huckelbie, Newt (gag), Dede Scazofava, Thompson (sad), Pawlenty and a few others support McCain then I will not be supporting them. The McCains and Cheney’s support gay marriage and sodomy.

Rush does not like Juan McCain either.

A is fair and she should be challenged on it if she runs

B and C are ludicrous.

“B. She tried to be a comedienne on Jay Leno.”

She was PERFECT on Jay Leno. She was a better comedinne than most of the people who regularly appear on those shows. She wasn’t mean. She wasn’t off-color. She was funny in a wholesome, good-spirited way.

I realize I am a newcomer but I do see an awful lot of ‘my way or the highway’ sentiment on here. If you stray from MY views you are a ‘traitor’ a DU plant or something like that.

JM$0.02 worth.

Even if Zero does not run in 2012, the Hildebeast will look like the old hag she is next to a youthful, engergetic Palin.

good grief...if you know people who supported Palin and are abandoning her because of an appearance on Leno or a “reality show” they NEVER did or would support her. She killed on Leno....and it’s somewhat tradition for politicians to appear on these late night shows. Obama did, McLame did, and remember Clinton playing his saxophone on late night TV during his presidential campaign? Reagan appeared on the Dean Martin show during his presidential campaign-—and guess what....he was in a comedy skit! AND....Chris Wallace reported early yesterday afternoon, confirmed by other media outlets, that she is NOT doing a reality show...she is involved in producing a documentary about Alaska and its resources (think energy independence). If you had watched Leno (or the clip that is everywhere on the web), you would know that he asked her about supporting McCain. She indicated that since she stood by his side and asked America to vote for him for President, it’d be hypocritical to not support him now...just as Rush has told us.

I just love people who make decisions without even knowing half the facts (sort of like the lamestream media).

I agree with there thinking on the Palin move ...but to this day I do not get how a Hilley supporter and a Palin supporter would have any thing in common to support both other then their both women

And if that is someone reason to support Palin.. just because she a women, I not sure I want someone so shallow on my side

What’s even more amazing is the “reality show” bit...I don’t understand how FReepers could be on the site for whatever reason and miss it when it’s all over the site and that it was ‘debunked” two days ago!!

It is not a reality show...it is a documentary about Alaska...sort of like Wild America or Discovery Earth...
