Then why are HIV-positive mothers discouraged from breast-feeding their infants?

Breast feeding and a squirt to the face are not anything alike.

Once upon a time some of us thought that HIV could be spread by casual contact, mosquitos, and other unknown means.

Some think it can be spread by a squirt of breast milk to the face but that isn’t the case.

Most people still think that men can get it from sex with women but those cases are extremely, extremely, extremely rare. So rare as to be statistically nothing.

The reality is that you have faced greater dangers all your life from HBV than HIV but were not even aware of it.
