For anyone who is interested in correlating this study of Abolition with a Study in Exodus, culminating in the Passover, feel free to come on over to “Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem” in the “Religion” section of this Forum. (Sorry for the shameless plug! LOL)
Anyway, being from Boston, I grew up steeped in the history of the Abolitionist Movement. The “African-American Meeting House” has been a stop on the Freedom Trail as long as I can remember, as well as the Robert Gould Shaw Memorial.
I went to the Robert Gould Shaw Jr High School, and there were also schools named after Harriet Tubman, Charles Sumner, and Susan B. Anthony and Lucy Stone(Woman's Suffrage)
Tragically, Politics in Boston took a left turn somewhere along the line, and with it, the politics of victimization, grievance, and entitlement!
So glad you liked this American Minute! It was about information I did not know - so I loved reading it and posting it. I love what William Federer is doing so will post this thread every day by God’s Grace - and you are on the ping list!!!
(Yes, Boston/Mass went leftist but God is going to take it back!!!! Praise His Holy Name1)
