As the war in Iraq began to turn the corner following the bold stand of George Bush and The Surge the liberal response was to deny the improvements and raise the level of liberal criticism of the war ...And when that had run it's course, and just when the all the signs were pointing to the wisdom of the surge approach they abandoned the hysterical political criticism to calling for the criminal prosecution of those whose policies had brought about the victory.

And finally, they claimed it was Obama's victory.

I can't tell you how that frosted my soft parts! They have absolutely no regard whatsoever for the truth. Sometimes it's because they really don't know the truth, but often it's simply because they don't care.

Their constant drum beat about Bush lying is a perfect example of how clueless they are when it comes to the truth. If I tell you something and you have reason to believe me and then you tell it to someone else it's not a lie. It's an error. Every intel operation in the world believed Saddam had WMD. Hell, I'm convinced even Saddam believed he did. I'm convinced he had people high in his regime taking all kinds of money and privileged treatment from him who were telling him, “Oh yes, we've had great success! We're right on track.” And all the time they knew damn good and well they didn't have the capability they were claiming and no idea how to get it. If he had known just how unprepared his defense forces were for an invasion I'm convinced he would have handled the whole UN thing differently. It's tough when your adversary has no respect for the truth and the MSM is intent on backing them up regardless of the cost to the country.

We need to make sure we keep handy a collection of all the outlandish things the libs were saying at the end of 2008 about the war being lost, our troops being murderers, etc. And come election time we need to make that a major thrust of the campaign to take back our country. They're like the crazy ex-daughter-in-law that uses her mouth the weapon of first choice and spouts anything she thinks will harm you and back her cause, regardless of the truth or reality.

We are going to have take out all the stops between now and Nov. and take advantage of every opportunity to show just how untrustworthy and totally clueless the libs are when it comes to the good of our nation. No more Mr. Nice Guy, afraid to tell the truth for fear of offending someone or hurting someone’s feelings. Lord knows we have the ammunition to show them up for exactly what they are.
