The Boost Blackberry is actually running on the Sprint network, so it has fast texting and data, unlike the older Boost/Nextel walkie-talkie phones.

One difference is that the Boost phones will ONLY operate on Sprint towers and will not roam on other providers' towers as real Sprint contract phones will.

Since you're going to pay $60/mo for Boost, it would be better to just pay $69/mo for a Sprint BB and have full coverage.

Excellent..thank you. I presume that the amount you mentioned is related to a “contract” phone vs a “sleebe” (sp) prepaid phone?
