Would you prefer that openly gay people be allowed to destroy the morale and discipline of the barracks?

Absolutely not, I think it would be a terrible idea. That was why I supported "Don't ask, don't tell." I thought the idea was that if individual gays never raised the subject of their sexuality, neither would the military. Apparently that is not the way it works.

I guess if we just ignored all criminal activity it will just go away or never effect the rest of society. /s

Repealing DADT and reverting to “ask, and if the asnwer is wrong, out the door” is what is needed.

Thank you. I’d glad that you think that allowing gays to openly serve in the military is a terrible idea.

But I fear that some will want to throw the baby out with the bathwater because of media sob stories like this.
