As a side note: my mother took me with her to go see Elenore Roosevelt make a speech. I was probably about the age of that little girl. As she left, we were also going to our car. It must have been parked close to where Elenore's was. So we walked a long side of her. The SS was of course with her, I got a little to close and the one of the SS shoved me back. Now weather Elenore saw or not I'm not sure. But, she was in a range she could have easily seen it happen. She never said a word. I just remember being really miffed by it.
