Red,
first let me say...I love this thread.
now, here in IN, we have been very warm this week and supposed to be 70ish today. it’s killing me. i want to plant my veggies and flowers but i know the weather in my area will change back to normal in about 5 minutes. i’ve got daffodils blooming like crazy, the wild onions are getting up and it makes the whole yard smell like an italian restaurant, and the last couple of nights i have heard the frogs talking. the robins are back, too. i say it is really spring. now if mother nature would cooperate by keeping the temps above 55 i would be the happiest of hoosiers.
Got your bluebird houses out yet? I saw two yesterday. Red wing blackbird was visiting the pond and the sandhill cranes have filled the cornfields near here.
Cleared flower beds yesterday and am going to plant strawberries and rhubarb today.
Beautiful weather in the Holler. Rain Sunday and Monday...
