Most American Jews are very happy with the One. They love liberalism/socialism and live for abortion rights. Additionally, they have come - over the last decade - to hate Israel, not the prosaic concept of “Israel” but the modern state which has been depicted by academia and MSM (well populated by American Jews) as South African-apartheid-oppressors. They are active supporters of the Israeli left (which is very active - Israel started as a quasi socialist country), Peace Now, and other left-wing “peace” organizations. Being a Jew in America, I know this all too well. My congregation’s rabbi was a proud member of “Rabbis for Obama” during the election and he still is a huge supporter, esp when it comes to Israel policy. He actively supports Obama’s not-so-covert efforts at regime change in Israel (of course, he was aghast at our policy of regime change in Iraq!). One of the most difficult existences in our society is that of the politically conservative Jew. Trust me, if there were an election today, Obama could still count on 70+% of the Jewish vote!
