Yep. Pretty soon you won’t be able to see who’s speaking.

I have found that disallowing anything from ad.doubleclick.net makes most pages open much quicker.

I’ve never used FOX on the internet. On TV they are the only game in town, but on the internet . . . fugggedabout it. I decided that when I tried their boards and the ads were all over the place and interfered with enjoying and discussing.

Migrate to FireFox 3, and install an addon called "adBlock Plus 1.1.3."

You'll never have to worry about all that crappy code Fox, and so many others use on their site. Plus, your browsing experience will be MUCH faster.

Foxnews.com might as well be the Enquirer. After a few token front page headlines, it’s all about celebrities and sex.

they have some kind of goofy pop up thing now. Every time you mouse over a highlighted word it pops a box up. very very annoying.

It’s not just you. Something they’ve recently added is making my browser freeze up. Most times I try to open and article, I get a pop-over window saying “Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site ____ Operation aborted (the article is visible underneath, but cannot be scrolled or brought to the front. When I click “OK”, the article disappears and the “Internet Explorer cannot open this webpage” screen appears. Then when I hit the back button on my browser, the article is back, but with a new pop-over window that says something else (can’t recall exactly what) — can’t bring the article in front of this, but can now scroll and thus read the article around it.

I’ve been spending a lot more time on CNN recently . . .
