It would be wise to keep a sharp eye on family members who were so gullible as to be fooled by the least experienced man ever to run for office anywhere. Perhaps they should not be trusted with a joint checking account.
I wish I had as encouraging a story - my cousin is a diehard liberal, and Obama supporter. He is also a HS teacher - and I think is rarely outside that circle and out in the “real world”. So his idea of this healthcare bill is all unicorns tossing skittles.
I see a lot of VERY quiet Democrats around
To the same relative in December 2009, Obama was the idiot.
I tried to stifle my smirk.
Dennis Miller played two messages he received yesterday about conservatives who had family members that voted from BO that are very sorry they did. That’s all the info I have. I don’t know any BO voters that have changed their mind.
This might tell you something:

Generic Congressional Ballot
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
Republicans 43%, Democrats 35%
The discontent will be directly proportional to the intelligence level of those who voted for him. In other words - not very high.
Hey, to a Dem, change is good. Unless it is with respect to climate, an increase in personal responsibility, a lowering of taxes, a cutting of trees, drilling for oil, nuclear power, etc...
Anyone stealing a handout from obamugabe remains in his camp. Those forced to pay at the point of a gun will likely not vote for this marxist goatherder again.
Thanks for sharing! The veil has been lifted.
>>...although she’d “take a trained poodle on a unicycle” over Obama now. <<
What about a Pitt Bull attached to her arm?
already know of two dems that are voting gop in november
Correction:
she got swept up in the "Histrionics of the Moment".
If she kenw anything about Historics, she would know Obama as a liberal fascist , the "soft tyrant" becoming the "hard tyrant."
Many were fooled. IMHO, dumber than dirt.
If they all voted twice for the GOP in the next election, they wouldn't be able to compete with the Obama amnesty voters.
There are very few genuine second chances in this life IMHO. Houston, we have a problem!
Wifey seems to get fooled by the charming, slick talkin’ Bamboozlers....maybe this lesson will finally sink in!
In an effort to find out such things and to balance out my own admitted overexposure to Rush, Sean, and Levin (which drives me nuts many days) I’ve been listening of late to Norman Goldman, who calls himself a Progressive and broadcasts up here (No CA Bay Area) on “Green 960”.
Frankly, even though he comes from the liberal viewpoint, I’ve been favorably impressed by his honest and logical analysis. What I’ve gleaned as to his take (and I do not suggest he is “rank and file” but a notably intelligent commentator:
In his view, the lack of a public option in the HC bill is a complete abject, miserable failure that essentially invalidates the entire effort.
And is proof positive that the Democrat leadership is absolutely as beholden to and captive of the insurance lobby as are the evil Republicans to the oil, armaments and warmaking lobbies.
That this will pass the Senate.
That after this is passed, no congreesman/woman will EVER EVER voluntarily TOUCH it again. EVAH.
He HATES the bill.
A woman who was in residency with me (medicine) is vowing to vote Republican. She was a life-long left wing democrat and BIG Obama supporter. Better late than never, I suppose.
Don’t vote GOP for the sake of voting GOP. Vote for people you can trust, not politicians.
I’m only know two people that I am certain voted for Obama. They’re not happy and it’s not because this bill “didn’t go far enough.”
Most of the democraps I know are die-hard liberals and wouldn’t admit they were wrong about anything. They are sitting silent and tight lipped when I or others talk about and criticize this heinous legislation or the way it was passed.
Democrat and union tools and fools.
I know several Obama voters that are furious now.
