I bring up Iran (and just about added France) because one way for the US to remain on firm ground compared to other nations is to EXPORT LIBERALISM.
Raise the minimum wage to $6.50 an hour in Mexico and you’d see fewer migrant workers. You’d see less exploitation.
If the US can’t have nuclear power than neither can Europe and neither can the third world.

Mojo is 99% retired from singing these days (although he has a radio show on Sirius).

Don Henley Must Die!!
I know what The Dude (a.k.a. Jeffrey Lebowski) would say, too:
“I had a rough night, and I hate the f***ing Eagles, man!”

Guess who The Eagles have for an opening act this summer...
The Dixie Chicks.
I just saved some of you some money!

FWIW, listen to Bob Seeger's Ramblin Gamblin Man and the background singer on that cut was Glen Frey...yep, his first professional gig at the tender age of 17.

Remember Glen Frey in a story arc on the 80s TV show Wiseguy?

I do!
Wasn’t Blondie on the show too?
To: Constitution Day
Yeah. And Patti D'Arbanville. That was a good show.
All the DVD releases of that particular storyline are minus the music. Guess they didn't want to pony up for the rights to the music.

The first six studio albums were great. Nobody writes lyrics like Henley/Frey. The last album released a few years ago was horrible, notwithstanding the moonbattery, it was just awful.

That's too bad, because the music was part of what I liked about the show.
Crime Story was another 80's cop show I liked a lot.

Enjoy many of the songs from the band, but after the way Henley and Frey cast Don Felder out THE BAND WILL NOT RECEIVE A CENT directly FROM ME! I'd have to think about crossing the street to attend a free Eagles concert.
Intraband griping and sniping being what it is, Henley and Frey are GREEDY jackasses no sidemen my big fat backside!

I would pay $850 for the 5 Star VIP Package”.
A ticket in the first 10 rows. Plus a pre-show party, including dinner & drinks. An exclusive Eagles gift. Hassle-free entrance to the venue. Crowd-free merchandise shopping. A 5 star commemorative laminate. An on-site host. Not to mention parking.
That seems like a good deal to me.

Best song they did was aimed straight at the lib's -
Get Over It
I turn on the tube and what do I see
A whole lotta people cryin' "Don't blame me"
They point their crooked little fingers ar everybody else
Spend all their time feelin' sorry for themselves
Victim of this, victim of that
Your momma's too thin; your daddy's too fat
Get over it
Get over it
All this whinin' and cryin' and pitchin' a fit
Get over it, get over it
You say you haven't been the same since you had your little crash
But you might feel better if I gave you some cash
The more I think about it, Old Billy was right
Let's kill all the lawyers, kill 'em tonight
You don't want to work, you want to live like a king
But the big, bad world doesn't owe you a thing
Get over it
Get over it
If you don't want to play, then you might as well split
Get over it, Get over it
It's like going to confession every time I hear you speak
You're makin' the most of your losin' streak
Some call it sick, but I call it weak
You drag it around like a ball and chain
You wallow in the guilt; you wallow in the pain
You wave it like a flag, you wear it like a crown
Got your mind in the gutter, bringin' everybody down
Complain about the present and blame it on the past
I'd like to find your inner child and kick its little ass
Get over it
Get over it
All this bitchin' and moanin' and pitchin' a fit
Get over it, get over it
Get over it
Get over it
It's gotta stop sometime, so why don't you quit
Get over it, get over it
Straight at the lib's!

When my wife and I had our first apartment, the neighbor upstairs would come home every Friday night at 11 pm, and like clockwork, play the Eagles live album on his stereo on full blast, starting with “Hotel California.” What a pest. He’d get about 3 songs in before the building manager, myself, or someone else would pound on the door to make him stop.
Sorry, haven’t like the Eagles since.

Maybe you have not heard the Eagles singing some of there song on country radio but you may have some of these:
Desperado by Clint Black
Take It Easy by Travis Tritt
I Can’t Tell You Why by Vince Gill
Heartache Tonight by John Anderson
All 4 of these are from the Common Thread: The Songs of The Eagles album done in 1993.
Clint Black does Desperado as one of his tunes on his road shows.
