Uh, no. I like Ike, but this is too much. Something this size should be for all past and future Presidents, at least.
How about out in front of the Eisenhower memorial (whatever form it eventually takes), a statue of Patton pissing in the Rhine?
There is already a monument to President Eisenhower: his presidential library and museum. It is located in Abilene, Kansas, the town where he grew up, right off Interstate 70. His grave site is within a short walk.

Old Dug Out Doug would know incompetence when he saw it. Mac Had an ego that was as large as the whole outdoors. He sucked at being a leader but was a wiz at PR.
I would trust Patton judgement over MacArthurs any day of the week. But if you need to know about how MacArthur operated, look at how he handled the “Bonus Army”. Ike had the sense to try and keep it low key, but Doug showed up in full military uniform and posed for pictures while troops machine gunned civilians.
