What’s a “data gap”?
Period of time where no one is keeping an accurate record of events/births/all info. Might happen in the event of an EMP or solar storm.
I’m thinking we’ve *surely* learned from past civilizations..... (s)
They don’t mention it at the site, but according to their ‘web bot’, there will be a period where there is a more than 90% data drop, almost to zero, on the net. They don’t know why. It slowly comes back, but not to the level it was before the data just ... disappears.
Solar flare, EMP, don’t know why.
A world like “Dark Angel” where all data was erased (magnetic) due to some major catastrophe.
